yea, don't but your books at the university, unless its some wicked low-printed book that they only carry in which case you're fucked. Libraries are good, too, if they have the exact book. amazon, half, ebay, you name it. fuck university bookstores
 
I buy my books on ebay, then sell them on ebay at the beginning of the next semester, and they end up costing me basically nothing.
 
you know what sucks, when the professors write their own $200 textbooks so you HAVE to get them from the school bookstore because they're nowhere to be found online.

but other than that, i saved a ton on half.com. i like that site.
 
haha i hear ya man. the uvm bookstore really does rip you off. I just eneded up getting most of mine from amazon. only bad thing is they don't let you sell the books back to them.

read that. it basically describes how the textbook market is a bunch of bullshit, and how they rip people off more and more every year for no reason except that they can, because there isn't a law saying they can't.
