i barely get any skiing, i have only 1 ski resort in my country that's open for about 1 month a year..we almost dont have freestyle products over here, and the prices are like twice the prices of products in europe and USA cuz of the shipping...oh yeah...and let's not forget terrorist groups wanting to kill me for living in my country+i've been sick at home for the last week
fuck that!

I think the States is where you should head next- isn't a visa easy to get?
Another reason to make peace in the Mideast, you might finally get your chance to ski Lebanon, or Iran. . .

the guy i buy coffee from evey morning is from Afganistan. he knows i ski because we've talked about it and he always asks about the Powder or Freeskier mag im holding. anyways....last year he went home for 3 weeks and when he came back he couldnt wait to tell me that he went sking while he was there. so if you can ski in Afganistan you can ski anywhere because that place is a mess.

I feel real bad for you because that situation really would suck, but i do really like the indian culture, im not sure how middle east that is, i just really want to go to india and drop acid in a temple in the mountains.

If i had extra gear i would say id give it to you for free just as long as you paid shipping, so maybe somebody else does.

my advice, become a terrorist, learn to highjack a plane, get a ton of money and teach all the other terrorists to smoke bud and ski in canada.......end of terrorism in the world.

well... i do have my own gear, though it's like from 4 seasons ago... but im cool with that...i didnt say you cant ski over here at all.. but we have only one ski resort in israel and being the only ones out there they allow themselfs to over-price everything and it's either that or not skiing at all...

and yes...we do get some of the hottest chicks

israeli and american people aren't welcomed in lebanon...+ getting a visa to enter the US is a pretty long procedure (thogh funny, you're asked if you were ever into terror or killing sprees :D )

. . .not if you have an Israeli passport. And getting a visa to Iran with a U.S. passport is no picnic, Lebanon is no problem- you can fly into Beirut and buy your visa at the airport.

I feel you man, even though your in a much worse situation that me, its alright here in dubai, but yeah, take up mountainbiking i say.

Very true. I meant aside from Isrealis. Not too sure what the situation if for Americans and Iran, but I guess I should specify and say, for more or less everyone non Isreali and American, it isn't a problem.

If the process with Iran is anything like Syria for Americans, then it shouldn't be too hard. Despite all the warnings of its difficulty and whatnot, those particular visas are issued at the Syrian border after a couple hours wait.

FUCK I can't go swimming in the desert. Goddamnit I can't get my ice to stop melting in this volcano. Shit I can't get 100 degree weather in the South Pole. Christfuck I can't get dry heat in the Amazon. I want some fucking humidity up here at Mt. Everest. Why the fuck can't they just ship in Oxygen to Tibet? I want it Now! Why the hell can't the Natives speak English here in North Eastern Siberia?

i would say go to iran because they have some skiing, but then i thought about ahmedinejad. and i reconsidered. go to ski dubai maybe.... good job hanging on ns though

Lebanon has some skiing though doesn't it? I mean, I had to research Lebanon in high school and I remember looking up shit on skiing and I thought that they had some.

i dunno. they have mountains... but its really dry... people in lebanon might want to kill him too... considering a couple years ago

Oh shit, he is Israeli.... yeah, maybe not such a good idea anymore, sorry dude. Lebanon however is one of the few countries that doesn't like Israel but they just never really do anything about it, most of that country has become a battlefield with the poor inhabitants stuck in the middle.

ya... they may have/be harboring terrorists unfortunately. the people dont want any of that shit but they do get it shoved down their throats... all the countries in the middle east that have skiing want to kill this guy. damn that sucks... makes me remember how lucky i am in the US of A

shut up......

you act more and more like Sean every day

bro, israel is a great country. I mean yeah there is no skiing, but lots of skier don't have skiing close by. your lucky you live in israel and not some dirty ass terrorist country like iraq or something.

Visas for Iran are very very difficult for U.S. citizens. I was sitting next to a couple in Denver Airport who were headed there, and it sounded like an absolute bureaucratic nightmare. They had tickets booked, and the visas were issued three days before they were due to leave. The 'embassy' is also way understaffed for the amount of stuff they have to take care of.
Syria actually has full representation in the U.S., and yes I've heard of getting visas at certain places along the Lebanon-Syria border. I never tried myself, though.

i live in Dubai and its great. a jump you can hit everyday thats groomed, hot girls and fun parties. Get to ski all year round..
Once winter starts we have dirt cheap trips to Iran and Lebanon to ski some of the most amazing powder ever. Dizin in Iran is like the 13th highest ski resort in the world or something and has unbelievably dry air, which makes the powder phenomenal.
Middle east isnt that bad buddy. As for shipping, just get aramex and suck it up !
(:
then again, Dubai is a lot different than other Middle Eastern countries.

i know that, i mean, when we do have snow israel is one of the only places in the world (if not the only one) you can hit snow, sea, and desert at the same day...
and dubai isn't really like the rest of the middle east, it's all rich and nice, most middle eastern countries are broke and just want to fight each other... let's bring world peace by skiing.anyone for a world peace session somewhere in europe on late january/early february?
