FUCK APRIL FOOLS DAY!

Ok its spring break, i woke up like an hour ago mosey on into the kitchen gets some breakfast and then sit down at the computer to check the usuals. I move the mouse and it the screen says shutting down. This is odd i never turned off my computer, ok i manually turned it off because it was going nowhere. I turn it back on and log on and when i get to my desktop i notice the background is different, i say fuck i have a virus. I go on to firefox and it says the default browser has changed. I open up itunes and it gives me the setup file, the program was deleted FUCK! I then go to my music folder to put my music back in itunes and ALL OF MY FUCKING MUSIC IS GONE! ALL 3500 SONGS ARE GONE. I look in my videos and pictures folder and ALL OF MY FUCKING WORK IS GONE. Including a skate footage that i am working on editing is gone. I have been punching a wall for 5 mins now. FUCK PCs I am getting a mac, this is second time this has happened. I really hope this is a bad april fools joke virus and when i wake up tomorrow it will all be back how i left it.

P.S. The subscription for my anti-virus (kapersky) ran out 3 days ago
 
I think that we can take the blame off of April Fool's Day and instead blame your idiocy.

PS, 3500 songs isn't that many.
 
we had a fuckin bomb threat todaysomebody sent in a note saying the school would blow up at 12:00that never happend and we had to stand outside on the fucking muddy fields for two hours
 
oh really, i am an idiot? How so, because i don't have the money to renew my antivirus program?

3.5k might not be a lot of music but getting it back will be pretty hard considering i had to go out of my way to get most of it. A lot of it was torrented but a lot wasn't
 
Yes. As much as people think that antivirus programs help, which they do in some cases, they are not always necessary. I have ran no antivirus for 3 years on my laptop and NEVER got so much as a trojan/spyware/adware/etc. You just have to be smart about what you DL.

So, like I said, quit blaming April Fool's Day.
 
This gives me a great idea for an april fools joke...

Hehe I'm going to take all of my brother's documents off his computer (pics, music, everything) and put it onto my external (its like half a terabyte its HUGE)

See how pissed off he gets then sneakishly put it all back in due time hahaha
 
I went to my brothers old account to see if he lost everything and it was all still there. I went singed back into my name and my old background was there, i am sooo happy! I will definetly be more cautious now though. I am gonna start backing up all my files, now that i realize how important they are.
