he actually is not targeting drug (mainly cannabis) users with this bill that he most likely signed. since obama has entered office, he has stopped the federal seizing of medical marijuana shops in California, but that is the extent of my knowledge on the subject. and as the bill clearly stated, it is all cigarette flavors. when was the last time you used a flavored cigarette to smoke your weed?

although it may come of as this, i am fairly positive this is trying to cut down the 400,000+ deaths a year caused by cigarettes

Hey man I'm 21 and I love me a peach Optimo or honey Backwood. I'd prefer an out of production Olivia Master Blends 2 (or even settle for the new Master Blends 3), but I'm not above smoking flavored cigars. I wonder if alcohol flavored cigars are included in the (I.E. those Kahlua cigars)?
 
To the contrary, I think you should learn how our government works. Barack Obama is not a wizard, he can't wave a wand and say I NOW DECREE THAT FLAVORED TOBACCO PRODUCTS ARE ILLEGAL. It is up to the congress to pass laws, not the president.

i graduated, im in college and have literally no money, it sucks ass, and even though the healthcare would help me out, im still extremely against it.
 
about the healthcare plan, one of my professors was talking about it in class and asked why so many of us didn't support it and many of the students made up some hypothetical bullshit that wasnt likely to happen to them. then he asked if any of us would be benefiting from it immediately and a kid told his story of his uninsured aunt who would now be able to receive treatment and medication for a disease she had been fighting for a while and was in some major debt from.

so really, the people for it are seeing changes, and the people against it just have some hypothetical bullshit reason why they dont agree with it.
 
as far as the healthcare bill i dont see why people have such sandy vaginas about it. it really isnt that big of a change . the insurance industry fucking sucks and rips people off so hard its not even funny. all these people that are so against it should start going to mexico for healthcare if they have such a problem with the bill.

and i just want say that i am tired of hearing fucking rednecks and congressman with annnoying fucking southern accents bitch about this for days. and as far as abortion id like to preform a post birth abortion on pretty much all of congress.

what happens if you break your arm? get hit by a car? get pneumonia? a cold and need meds? skiing accidents?

perfect example; my brother is a chef. he is also allergic to a lot of things. he sometimes has eczema outbreaks, and that just so happened on the job, so he's going about his life, as per usual, and then one day he realizes his hands are swollen, and he can't move his middle finger. so he checks into the hospital. well, i'd say the only flaw in canadian health system is the wait times, which seriously depends on which hospital you go to, and the food, but all in all, i digress... so after 8 hrs of waiting room(checked in saturday night, got a room sunday morning, we only get a phone call on monday. he's on morphine and had his hand and finger slices opened because he has a bacterial infection in his blood. in the end, he spent a whole entire week in the hospital. yes we have insurance, would he be covered completely, no. so, he got free medication, free food everyday, and a free bed and medical assistance, all for the price of everyone's, including his own, tax dollars, which you know, when you don't have money, is a fucking bonus.
why can't you people look at this situation as an investment? no one ever expected him to be in a hospital, but it happened, and he's a normal person, living a normal life, like everyone else. and if my mom didn't have insurance, which he shouldn't even be covered by anymore, and we didn't have the medical system we do, he could either owe hundreds or thousands of dollars, or be dead. this is the reality of the situation that i don't see or understand why any of you can't grasp this concept.
if you believe in retirement funds, and saving for the future, fucking believe in your health care system, for gods sake.as americans you're supposed to be proud and welcoming. you're supposed to be independent and free. yet all you do is oppress and deny. give it a break already.

you know what i love. i love the fact that when i feel like shit i can walk down the street and get medical assistance if i really need it. that's comforting as heck.

im not saying i like the healthcare system how it is right now, i agree that it needs reform, but not in the way this bill wants.

anything that takes away freedom by adding more government control is hard to support. its been proven in the past that more government control is a worse government.

im willing to risk a little more and have to work a little harder in order to maintain as much freedom as possible, i dont want the government forcing anyone to pay for my healthcare, if i fuck up skiing and break my leg, its my fault, if i have some medical condition that im born with, thats my problem, not someone elses.

and its not very comforting knowing how many pieces of shit i will be supporting. i dont want to pay for someones health problems because they spend all day on the couch eating potato chips and bacon grease, or for some alcoholic, smoker, or drug addict. people like that need to realize they fucked up their own lives and they need to get themselves out of it, and those are the types of people this is going to be helping the most. but instead the government is just gonna be wiping their ass even more, making them think its ok to be a fuck up. i do not want these types of people getting my money.

im completely fine with charity, and people giving money, i know i want to donate to charities later on if i can afford it. but i want to choose where that money goes, i want it to go to someone who actually needs it, there are decent people out there that for whatever reason lost their job, got hurt badly etc... and its just bad luck, its a part of life. but i am more than fine with helping those people out, but when the government is forcing me to give my money to people who deserve it far less, the chances of me helping those who actually deserve it decreases alot.
