Ft. McCoy, WI

this is gonna sound like I'm nuts, but Ft. McCoy has a pretty badass 'park'. I lived up there (WI) last year and skied it or worked there every day it was open and it was pretty sweet. the weird thing is...one run only. yeah, sucks, but the whole thing is basically a park. usually one big hit (maybe 40 feet), maintained perfectly, and I think they're up to 6 rails now. the 'locals' kick ass (was part of the 'crew' last year but sadly no more, PA kinda blows) basically, if you're cool with everybody, you can build...ha, DO whatever you want. the whole thing is serviced by one T-bar. so, i doubt anybody will be making road trips for day after day of hardcore skiing, but i figured i'd give a heads up to any of you who might be/are going to be in that area sometime this winter.

Hey do you still ski at Ft McCoy sometimes? I live in Tomah and it would be nice to see some cool skier in at Ft. have just been there once..I usually go to Cascade

...

I swaped the Alps with the Middle of Wisconson can't wait till I can go back where I belong!

nah, i moved to boyertown, PA...like 30 miles from philadelphia. i'm heading up there to visit some friends sometime this winter though, and i'll definately be at both Fort and Cascade. tomah isn't all that bad compared to sparta, which is where i lived. it's freakin horrible, nothing to do and the people (99 percent of them) suck. the fort helps a bit in the winter though.
