FT high fives shin bang

starting to develop really bad bruises around my shins, I'm pulling the straps across as much as they can go but still my shins move around. Its hardly any space between my shin and the liner but it obviously does some damage after a couple days of skiing. Plz don't suggest i get bootfitted for new boots either or any of that stuff because the boots have been fitted by a ski shop and molded properly, other than my shins right now the boots are perfect.

So,im thinking booster straps might help tighten that extra space around the top of the boots or is it just because the FT high fives use a slightly shorter liner than the other boots( ex. tom wallisch FTs) ?

Happened to me once, since i've bought some SPK with rubber toe piece and never happened to me again! Or perhaps I land on my back more rarely..

A couple things. Landing backseat is always gonna get ya in trouble with your boots. Either land more centered over your ski or land switch so your leaning into your boots and not against them. 1s 5s and 9s are the most comfy to land. That aside try booster straps, or this nice tongue pad called the Eliminator (I have used both in te past and they work), or gal to your local trusted boot fitter about locking down you legs haft better with some padding on the liner.

If you have chicken legs, you will have a hard time getting the FT done up really snug. The buckles may be tight but if you still have some space, try the Eliminator tounge pads. Takes up more room and provides you with a bit

More cusion. As mentioned above too, learn to land over your feet. Backseat landings will dominate your shins

By the sounds of it the boots are a bit big around the leg for you or you could have room above the instep. There are some things you can try though. Firstly have you got a footbed. Realigning your foot could help put your shin in a better postion. Tounge eleiminators could be an option, as could a custom spoiler for the shell to help remove volume. Take them back to the shop you got them fitted at and see what they can do for you.
