As some of you may have noticed, I turned off access to the forums last night. The reason for this is that for some unknown reason, a spamwar erupted.

A currently unknown person spammed the newschoolers forums, and unfortunatley said that I had told them to do so. Let it be known THAT I HAD NOTHING TO DO WITH IT. Spamming like that serves no purpose. I think newschoolers is a good site, and that there is plenty of room on the internet for more than one skiing website.

After that a group of posters from newschoolers decided that they, without any proof at all that this person was from freeskiing.com, would flood our forums in return. This childish act resulted in me locking the forums last night until I could clean up the mess. Unfortunately I was skiing and generally relaxing all weekend and didn't check the forums until sunday night. So today (monday) I had to spend a few hours cleaning up the mess that others had made.

I'm mad right now, and I hope that I can find the original spammer. All of those who spammed on this forum are going to have their accounts deleted, and possibly their IP's added into the firewall so that they can't visit at all.
