First up I have a pair of surface new life's, size 174. I have owned them for a season and a half and had one of my best powder experiences with these skis ever. I am a ski technician at ProSki Service Seattle and just gave these bad boys a full tune up. This included a stone grind, a edge, and a wax. Basically a $45 tune up which im throwing in for free. I p-texed literally every imperfection on the bases and they are basically fast as hell. There was one tine core shot ( 5mmX5mm or around there) which i promptly did a base weld on and it is holding very well. Every other p-texed spot if a little knick that doesnt go deep at all. There is normal top sheet chipping just like on every ski that is 2 years old. The skis come with Marker Griffons which go up to 12 din. I would be willing to separate if the price is right.
