its a fixie or fixed gear biked meaning that as fast as the wheel spins your legs spin that fast so to slow down you just slow you legs down. Someone buy this, alot of fun to ride!
 
i think it's safe to assume that any singlespeed without brakes is a fixie

but maybe op is just a crazy motherfucker and stops by running into poles
 
single speeds can be ridden without brakes, it's just incredibly retarded and you have to foot jam in the tire to slow down. just like riding brakeless bmx.

I prefer to ride brakeless fixie, keeps my commute interesting and my whip looking clean.
