No hard hits of any kind in it. There are no gouges or damage of any kind. Tiny marks from transporting it around but nothing noticeable really. few more photos in profile or small marks just an FYI. Comes with all extra pads and optional visor too.

Well theres no rips. All the buttons are still on. The only thing is one of the zipper pull tabs broke off and I got a replacement so you can't even tell, In my opinion it's in great shape but your free to make up your own mind of it
 
Yeah you could paint it I guess, but I would not recommend it. Either would POC. It can weaken the integrity of the helmet possibly.
 
Here's a photo of me wearing ther gear. I am 5'11" tall and weigh about 220lbs for reference. It's a really bad pic but whatever
