it is not part of the edge it is a metal piece that came off some how. i bought them like that from armada.

I mounted up the exact same pair for this season... they also have the odd tail. Depending on how yours have been stored they will hold up for a season or a couple hits on a table.

they should be fine. i was planing to p=tex over just so tha it would be a smooth edge if that makes sense. i bought them from the rmada warehouse and was planning on riding them but decidied i want to get 180's so i will probily just go get another pair.
