I was one of those people who complained, and I really like this jacket. I'll go for $100 in about a week.
 
dude, stop lowballing the guy. $100 shipped? That means if you pay by PayPal the dude is only getting $85 after payment and shipping. It cost $260 new. He used it ten times for $185. That is $18.50 every time he went up. Stop lowballing if you can't pay for the goods

130 sounds fair. you were out of your mind trying ot get 190 for it.
 
Sorru about that dude, but I wasn't saying $100 shipped, it would be more like $120 with shipping is what I'd pay.
 
you know i've read ski equipment for years now, and I have to say that sticky is gay. Because someone stickied a post from TGR's forums about selling stuff, that is absolute law on all sales here now? So, if any item is listed for more than 50% of selling price, it's a rip off? Get real.

Go look on ebay. I've been lookin for macbook pros on there lately, and I buy a lot off of it. All the time you see things that were purchased a few months ago selling for 70-90% of original price, that's how it goes.

In my case I used the thing 10 times, so I disagree with 10% off per years old. Secondly, going by those rules you love so much, you left out:

+10-30% for Rare/High-demand item

Top end oakley jackets are usually in high demand. Ideally I wanted 150$ shipped for it, but I posted it at 190 with "make an offer" because everyone on here does what triple_strum said and offers way less than asking price.

so yeah, anyway, 130 shipped. hope someone wants it.
 
you really need to just chill buddy. no one is going to want to buy from an anal seller like you. oh and just so you know there is another active thread right now selling the same jacket, as well the man behind lonesomepine productions just sold the same jacket. That is 3 options to buy this jacket.. it suddenly doesnt appear so rare or high of ademand now does it?

and you clearly cant seem to get it in your head were trying to help you so what ever man best of luck
 
dude...just because a few people are selling it doesn't mean it's in high demand. it means there's a better supply, but the demand can still be great. nice try to make it seem like you know what you're talking about though.
 
Sw_steeze, please shut up. He isn't an anal seller. There were no tones of anger or tension in his explanation. And lastly YOU were definitely NOT trying to help him. YOU are trying to be a jerk and ruin his sale in an attempt to make yourself look good for some unknown reason. YOU are the one that had the sarcastic, know-it-all tone. Read what you wrote and get off your high horse: "it suddenly doesnt appear so rare or high of a demand now does it?" Wow, you might as well say "My single purpose in posting in this thread is to act like a snob conessieur of soft goods and to create a market in which kids like me can get things cheaper than we should even though our parents make ten times more than you"

Can we please have a policy of sticking out of people's business unless we have something nice to say? Maybe moms have it right...
 
The TGR rule can suck my dick. Are we on TGR? 130 shipped is a pretty fucking decent deal. I'm sure if you didn't lowball him right off the bat he might've worked out a deal for you.
