Orange/Grey Look ZR bindings from a few years back. Great shape with little use.

The predecessor to the FKS and Look P-range. Bombproof! and colorful.

Same era as the OG FKS 180s with the semi-circular toe.

yeah, any P series toe should work. If you can get the lower AFD, not the axitec, it would be that much better.

indemnified means the shops will still mount them. Yes these are still indemnified. I have 14 din Forza Pros which are the exact same design. The toe is the same as the current 18s except for obviously a different mold and instead of a 4 screw pattern, it's only 3. Very solid bindings (all metal!!) good price.

So do I.

The 04-05 rossi manual had the ZR-R listed, but the 05-06 doesn't (Unless the bindings are also known by a different name)

At the end of the day, I guess a person buying these bindings knows what's up and won't be worrying about indemnification..

Yeah new indemnification agreements are required every year between the binding company and dealers.

It holds the shop harmless from "any liability relating to claims for personal injury sustained by the customer

as a result of the use of [e.g Rossi] bindings. This is providing the shop follows all of the terms and conditions

of the Rossignol Indemnification Agreement and the procedures described within this manual."

Thats why shops don't like to mount non-indemnified bindings, if an injury happens - potentially massive liability to the shop.

Naw it's cool. I totally forgot about the ski shop liability issues and their approved binding lists. That being said, know someone at a shop, you can get a 70s era marker rotamat mounted.

Word up to that Sean.

That toe is amazing, as good or better than the current P18 toe save maybe the fact that it only has 3 screws.

If I remember correctly it's the 3D design ( I know the 13DIN had 3D, not 100% sure on the 17DIN model pictured here), and has full upward release and pivots from a single point, not like the new toe where part stays still and part moves, very solid all-metal toe with vertical release...what's not to like?

They may still be on the list but alot of shops refuse to mount them. I ride a pair of the ZR18 and ended up having to get them done under the table after 3 shops refused to touch them.

that toe is good...only gripe is it is more likely to pull out due to only 3 screws but even that is highly unlikely. sick bindings bump.

Bump this shit mark is drunk as fuck shit hawks are swooping down at him right now.

Put some shit skis on these shit bindings.

beacuse of mounting issues??

i had some older looks i bought from a NSer in the summer and the shop i went to had a jig to fit it...all else fails whoever is intersted in these call up the shop and ask if they have a jig before you buy..

It isn't a question of whether the shop has the jig or not, it's whether or not the shop will mount them due to liability issues.

^Any shop worth going to will have a tech who can freehand mount them well enough you'd never be able to there wasn't a jig.

thats why you gotta know your shop guy.. as my dad told me as a kid "its not what you know, its who you know" and thats verry true. haha

absolutely.

And the person buying these bindings will probably know a shop guy to help them out with the mount so it will all work out in the wash!

i dont even think you will find a shop that will mount those... most shops dont work on bindings more than a few years old......

sick binding tho

bump.

These are amazing bindings. I've used a set for the last 5 seasons and they still perform and function perfectly. Any decent shop will mount these. that shouldn't even be an issue.

good luck man. I wish i had some extra funds.

Bump. They're on the indemnified list, if a shop doesnt want to mount them, then you shouldn't deal with such a pussy shop. End of Story, buy these.
