I am selling a pair of 2006-2007 Look P18 bindings, They are in almost perfect condition, They have been mounted on a pair of 4Frnt VCT's that I am selling. I can sell you the ski with the binding if you want. I have not taken them off the ski yet. The brakes were standard width but have been bent out to fit a 104mm waist and they work fine. Asking $250 for the binding. OBO. Pictures to follow.

Beginner skiers, look elsewhere. The Look P18 Alpine Race Binding is not for the faint of heart. It has a DIN that starts at 8 and goes up to 18 for people who push their skis hard and can't afford to have them pre-release. Look bindings have a very short mounting zone providing strong lateral support and allowing the ski to follow more of its natural flex. Look's turntable heel has a huge range of elastic travel with automatic re-centering to give you more time to recover before it releases and to make it easier to get back on in deep powder and steep slopes. These are one of the most popular Freeride Powder Skis on the market.

theyd be ok...actually prolly not anywhere near burly enough, like seriously ud probably pre release waaay too much.

a binding that goes up to 18 is fuckin dumb like theres no ones that blows out of a binding set at 17 when they shouldnt blow out of it, unless ure a fuckin fat ass

just think for a second, would every binding company mass produce bindings with dins that high if no one needed them?

most people that ski on p-18's that I know have their dins around 14-15. too high for a fks 155. And when they go lower they come out when trying to spin farhter then you.

Because of a switch in binding design from the P-series turntable heel to the PX series heel. If I recall it was done for reasons of cost, though don't hold me to that.

IMPORTANTLY: the new P18 replacement is the PX18. It is still 18din because people need it. If you ever get a chance to use one you will quite quickly understand why we buy them.

"For industrial reasons" the guy in an SIA video said.

Aparently the P18 is coming back due to demand from racers.

mayyybe so that they could use the more rigid heel design because that's what these bindings are all about, they still have a din of 18. I dunno maybe not, in fact you're probably right I don't think anyone uses them I was just making that up.

Very good analogy. For most people, and 18 DIN binding is complete overkill. I think the vast majority of skiers on this site only require a 12 DIN binding, maybe 14 at most.

errr, what did he do wrong? have i missed something, or did you yourself miss something? like your last valium shot maybe...

last time i checked fks 185 and p18s were pretty much the same deal...

Yep, it was you that missed something.

P18s and FKS 185s are exactly the same, the point is that here we try to have a respect for peoples sale threads...all the people that would be considering this binding have already looked around and know what they go for, he doesn't need to advertise other bindings for sale in this thread.

my thoughts exactly.

i like not questioning my bindings.

never once have i questioned my turn tables.

and i have also herd the rumor the old heel is coming back as well.
