This is a pair of 2010 Line Prophet 100 length 186 with 2010 Marker Jesters, I bought both brand new last year. Year after year the prophet challenges or wins best ski in its class in all categories and may be one if the best skis ever made. Shape: 134-100-125 With a fat 100 mm waist this is the perfect all mountain ski. The shape and size make it float really well in the powder while still giving it edge to edge quickness of a GS ski. It is especially quick in the trees. It is in really good condition, the only scratches you can see in the photos and the bases and edges are perfect. MSRP $800The bindings are the 2010 marker Jesters with a DIN of 16. Everyone knows these are some of the best bindings out there and can hold up to anything, whether you are spinning in the park, ripping it up in the back country or laying your shoulder down at 80mph. Though I will say that the OP posted silly things like MSRP of $800 whenever everyone knows the retail price of the p100 is $650. Though, with bindings that set up may have cost almost $1000.
 
They have about 10-15 rides on them last season, and it was all in great snow so there weren't any bad base shots. Never railed. i know I probably won't get $750 but I am definately willing to negociate. But I have seen older models than this sell on ebay for over $600. Thought i would just list them here first. Yes I paid $650 for the skis and $390 for the bindings so $1040 in total and I just had them waxed and tuned and am offering free shipping which will cost me another $50.
 
Rocked the 2011 version of this ski this past summer in Argentina (CLAIM!) and came away thinking it was the best ski I have ever been on. Remounted it with my Dukes and will be riding it everyday this season unless we get an obscene amount of snow.
 
why are these skis so much?

jesters = $175line prophets = $649 @ backcountry, but who buys it at retail cost.

i think these look like they would be fun. but i can't swing it despite my desire for 100 width skis.
 
another ignorant comment. Show me where you can get nearly new jesters for $175 shipped and I will buy two pairs. And you ask who buys retail... well see, when a product is sold out and retains value well, it isn't $300 next year like park skis. $650 is a legit price. Just put thme on Ebay bro and you will get it.
 
if you call ski shops at the end of the year you can get $125 griffons and $175 jesters brand new in box. especially ski shops in ski areas. they carry several pairs of jesters/griffins/schizos usually just because they are like that. think utah, colorado, tahoe area ski shops (and even online websites).
its just year end sales. we are talking as early as early the beginning of march through the end of inventory
im not joking one bit. got my griffons for $125 new in box with my choice of brakes.

i forgot just how cheap i found fks brakes at the 2010 year end sale. cause i was really considering a pair.
 
right. so you are comparing his to sale to the theoretical best time to buy gear? That is stupid. Right now you can't find a pair of Jesters for less than $250 new. So why are you comparing apples to oranges, all in the name of being a know-it-all jerk trying to ruin his sale?
 
thanks guys. I am gonna leave them up here for about another month and then If I can't sell them I'll go to Ebay. That is my last resort. These really are the nicest pair of skis I have ever ridden, they charged through everything and floated super well in the powder for a 100mm ski.

no, it has nothing to do with common sense. Just you not helping his thread by being annoying. How about this, you find the exact same set up, last year's Prophet 100s with Jesters in great condition, for less than $600. Then maybe your argument might be worth something. Otherwise, you have yet to compare apples to apples, and being obnoxious in the process.
