hey guys this is kinda a feeler to see if anyone is interested. I have a brand new pair of head spawn 1s in size 178, which are a little too small for me. These skis came out with the original head jo pro skis(the blond twins) as the none pro ski. Very similar to the jo pros in the fact that they are as light as air, have an anti scratch topsheet and are cap construction. shoot me an offer if your interested and ill send you some pictures.
specs:
Size: 178cm
Sidecut: 113-77-102mm
Turn Radius: 20.1m
Ideal Target Skier: All Mountain Park Rider:
Skiers that go anywhere on the mountain, and still make trips through
the terrain park enough to require twin tips, describe these skiers.
They are not afraid to skip park sessions to ski deep powder, but are
torn sometimes for their love of hitting rails and jumps in the park.
Skier Ability: Intermediate to Advanced:
Sometimes these skiers are intermediate, and on a good day, they are
advanced, but hard to commit to one level. They can ski most places on
the mountain, sometimes with a little difficulty, but always making it
down without crying and calling ski patrol.
Speed: Fast:
At this speed, these skiers are passing most of the others on blue
square runs, and keeping up with most skiers on black diamond runs.
AirCoat Hollow Glass Technology:
Enables 40% less weight, the same or better strength, and more agility
than other core fibers. Aircoat fibers are hollow enabling the
component weight to be 40% less. The hollow fibers have higher
compression strength and higher specific strength than any solid
fibers. This combination of lighter weight and increased strength means
the ski is more agile and more responsive.
Wood Core:
The standard core which has throughout time provided the best
performance and durability. Each model may have it's own density level
to help define flex and maximum speed but every wood core ski will be
solid.
UHM C Base:
The most durable, quickest base material on the market. It requires
very little maintenance and allows your skis to do what they are made
to do until you decide you've hit so many rocks that it needs a tune.
Twin Tip Skis:
Not just for spinning 360s in the park any more. These ski have turned
up tails, aka twin tips. While they will definitely aid you in hurling
those aforementioned 360s, they also do many other things. They make
landing jumps and skiing backwards smoother, but they also ski better
in trees and tight situations where the reduced running length add to
mobility. In fact the only downside to twin tips is that they don't
perform true full arced carving turns as well as traditional skis. But
hey, the world has evolved to doing more than simple carving so maybe
you should too.
