FS: HD CAM!!!! CHEAAPP!

HDD, not HD.

HD = High Definitiion

HDD = Hard Disk Drive

I have a 20GB JVC camcorder, they are pretty good, really good functionality and easy to use, amazing zoom too. Quality is reasonable, and format is *.MOD which only edits in Mac programs and a program called Cyberlink Power DVD editor. It's pretty gash. Fairly good price though - photos?

Bahahah 1080p!! you just owned yourself, 1250 dollar camera does not shoot 1080p, at least not true HD 1080p. Silly kids need to stop claiming HD when they have no idea what they're talking about.

Im not bashing his sale, im just speaking the truth. They claim "full hd" or "fhd" (wtf?) but unless its 1080p30p its not full HD. If you think im wrong well then think what you want, because you are actually wrong.
 
I know someone is going to say "dude the company says its full hd", well an FX-1, top of the line prosumor hd (1080i) camera doesn't even shoot full hd. Hell, the HVX doesn't even shoot full HD, it only shoots 720p30p.
 
thats beside the point...if hella expensive cams like the fx1 dont shoot "true HD" then you could say that about them too. obviously true HD is hard to come by, but this is still as close to HS as youre gonna get with that kind of money. good luck.
 
For the record, 650 for this camera is a very good deal, record on memory, has 3ccd, and says it can shoot UP TO 1080i. Sounds like someone should pick up this kind of hd camera.
 
basically I get paid on the 28th. If no one has bought it by then, and you will post to UK, I would be very interested. Right no I don't have the ca ca cash.This is a pretty good price
 
60p 30pn and 24pn, as in true progressive without pulldown, which can not be achieved with cameras that shoot on tape.
Anyways the argument for "true HD" always goes on. You need a camera with a 1080p chip. EX1 isnt even considered true hd if thats how you consider it.
HD doesnt necessarily mean "quality" its just a resolution size basically.
An HVX in 720p mode will look better than HDV cameras in 1080i.
