i'd say it is darker than it is lighter. the flash was on in the picture. if you'd like another picture i'd be happy to take one without flash.
 
hey just a bump/tip here, make your own slide gloves. I used the method in the below video and it worked great and only cost me $8. My friend who has a landyachtz $50 pair says he likes mine better.

I'm also a frogskins collector. I would also trade a pair of vintage clear frogskins with purple lenses. The lenses are far from the best condition but still wearable. We could work out a little money to make up for the scratches.
 
free bump cause i had those grey ones until they went flying off my face boating yesterday. Now they lie in the bottom of the Willamette. RIP
 
the grenade pair is up on ebay, and my personal favorite.. the greys, are soon to be traded for an xxxl black liquid swords if no high offer arises. $95 shipped would be a new high offer.
