haha holy shit i had never done that before tonight, and now my finger is all bloody. but yea sick bindings, mine are holding up great. they fit my 81 mm waisted armada AR5's fine, no bending at all. get these if you want to be awesome like candide!!
 
It happened to me too. Its behing the heel, where there is a metal square. If the heel in engaged when your finger is in that square, its gets squished, as the space between the heelpiece and the bottom of the bar is less than 1cm. If this happens, prepare for a new kind of hurt.

My nail was black/blue for 5-6 months.

that was about 20 minutes after it got slammed. It was super flat, then just swelled up like woah!
 
thats shitty. my nail just kind of cracked, and i got a cut that bled a lot but now its done bleeding. my finger still hurts. i hope my nail doesn't turn black or anything.
