Hey guys,

I graduated from college last spring, I recently moved from New England to Colorado and I just landed my first “real” job as sales rep for BOLD Poles. I’m just another kid who grew up on this site and is following the dream of skiing as much as I can… A glorified way of saying I’m a ski bum.

I don't see anywhere what materials are used in making these. To justify a 100 dollar pole you might want to give more information. I could buy a scott team issue for that much and know it will last for years and years, maybe not customizable but that really isn't any justification on a higher price.

Appreciate your concern

These are standard aluminum poles they are not composite. I'm waiting for an email back from my boss on the thickness of the shaft if that is what you are looking for. There are other companies selling customizable poles for the the same price or more not in the colors that these come in. With the coupon code I'm hooking you guys up with they're most certainly the cheaper deal in custom poles. We also have a great warranty where if you break one pole we'll hook you up with a replacement pole for wicked cheap rather than having to go buy a new set.
