I don't need this thing anymore, so it's for sale! I've had this lens for a few years and have probably only taken 1000 photos with it, so I can't justify having L series glass anymore. The lens is in perfect condition since it's spent 99% of its time sitting in my camera bag, and there's a couple tiny scuffs on the hood. The kind of scuffing you get from setting it down gently on smooth surfaces. I took this thing on one 3-day backpacking trip, and aside from that it has never really been outside.

I have the original box, leather bag, hood, and a UV filter....unfortunately I have no photos since my other camera is a 4x5 (I can take some once my x10 gets here thursday). I'd prefer someone in the Bozeman area, but I'm willing to ship if that's not possible. I was thinking $1,100?

I just checked used prices around here, I think $1,000 is a bit more reasonable.

I'm also looking for a 24mm 2.8 and 50mm 1.8 if someone wanted to do a partial trade with one of those.

Arg the timing. I have both with filters and I'm planning on purchasing this lens in the fall assuming I get into uni. Just don't have the cash to fund a purchase like this right now.

1,000 is a very very fair price. Had I not needed one right away I'd have helped you out!

Yo zach, assuming you get into Ryerson bear in mind that they've (most of) the whole fleet of L lenses available to loan out. Might save ya dropping a grand.

I need to pay rent, so give me an offer before this goes to the used camera store monday or tuesday. I'm also going to be skiing in Cooke City saturday and sunday, so I won't be able to get back to anyone on those days.

Just took a look at the gear list last night out of curiosity and realized that, so yah... thats a grand better spent on film/supplies/tuition.

It's on CL, but I've only gotten super shady offers and lowballs. I have L-series glass and a DH bike for sale and I won't make rent this month.

You just made a thread because you want tele shots and now you're selling your longest end for a shorter lens. Confused...

I would imagine he wants to double down and get rid of his 24-105 for a 24-70 and a 70-200, but i could be wrong.

Tried Photography-on-the.net? or fredmiranda? it will sell there, very quickly.

Might be selling my 24-105 to buy this. Not 100% sure yet but I'll let u know hopefully my pay cheque comes in soon!
