brand new size medium POC bug spine protector. Says it all.

I am 5'9"

the website says a medium fits 5'5" - 5'11" (65"-71"). I would say that is pretty accurate, I don't think they would fudge the fit guide with liability.

Also, how does it feel when you ride? I want something that you can't notice when you ride, but you can notice when you fall.

According to their sizing it should work, and the way the wrap belt and shoulder straps work, I bet it would fit fine. If anything, you are just getting a little more spine coverage than some people.

As for fit, the plates fit together like an armadillo shell. I have used the same spine protector, and others, and other than feeling it while riding a chair lift, its less annoying that a backpack.

I never ride without spine protection, and its already saved my life once. Its just as important as a helmet in my opinion.
