Yo so it sounds like you had the same problem I did.... I usually ride a sz29 saloman spk 337bsl but went with a 28.5 full tilt that was .317bsl.... Pretty big difference and I found it to be a perfect fit except the toe region was squished and my toes were to long and crunched. I recommend you get a punch which will create much more room in the liner in the toe area. I did this and got a heat mold and with days skiing the boots now are an amazing fit and have really changed my ski season this year.
