not hating but im not a big mtn bike guy and why would u want a hard tail for mountian biking?

Its for dirt jumping, so think bmx bikes but bigger. Its a bike thats made to be really light and flickable just for jumping and tricks. But that's why im getting rid of it because i have a slopestyle bike (same type of bike but with rear suspension) and its way more fun overall. Also quite a few people use hardtails for Cross country riding because they have a tendency to be lighter and you will lose less pedal efficiency with the a solid rear end as appose to one with a shock on the rear that absorbs your pedaling, but with modern technology full suspension bikes are more efficient these days.

Does that kinda make sense?

I really wish I could afford to buy the bike. I'm a 6'3" guy and I feel pretty awkward on my BMX bike now. Haha.

Awesome sale though man.

yeah im 6'2 and i feel like a bmx would be super fun but i would end up being feeling like a giant on a tricycle

Yeah I definitely have a lot of fun on my BMX bike, and it's nice because I can throw it around pretty easily because of my size. I'm definitely looking to get a mountain bike soon though.

If I can afford it, I should probably get a full suspension bike right? I rode my friends Specialized Pitch around and loved that. Do you have any "low budget" recommendations? Low budget as in, I don't want to drop 8 grand on a mountain bike. I could still spend a good amount of money on it though, because I realize they are pretty expensive.

Yeah, as far as low budget goes a grand can get you a good bike, but it will be used. I would start by checking out pinkbike.com and seeing if there's anything local.Depending on what you want to do with your bike, if you want a full suspension that will ride like a bmx check out slopestyle bikes, for example: Banshee Rampant, Specialized SX, Cove Hooker, Kona Bass, Dartmoor Shine, Blk Mrkt Killswitch, and Transition double. Those are all full suspension made to be light and jump well. The next category up would be freeride bikes and those tend to be more for bike parks, full on downhill trails, and bigger jumps, not so much dirt jumps for tricks.

If you have any more questions feel free to ask, i could probably find you a biek on pinkbike actually if you tell me your price range and what state your in unless your cool with shipping and paypal.

Also, im actually trying to sell a banshee rampant ha ha i forgot about that.

For example heres what i do with the Rampant. im 6'2 btw

don't be a weeny, i'm 6'2 and my DJ bike has a shorter TT than that. ;)

just kidding, i wish i could justify a third set of wheels right now!

i have a Transition T.O.P and a blckmrkt MOB currently, along with a couple cc bikes and a road bike.

what full suspension are you talking about?

o nice! those are two nice bikes.

I'm trying to get rid of my banshee rampant, so slopestyle bike, but i've ridden bike parks, skate parks, XC, and dirt jumps with it and it did it all really well.
