FS: 20,000mm series DUB jacket, new w/ tags.

This is a brand new w/tags DUB Century Jacket from their Remix line, size XL. It's their flagship jacket in the 20k series.

- 20,000mm waterproof

- 8,000mm breathability

- Fully taped seams

It's from last season, but new. I love the thing. Color, cut, features... but it's just too big for me. I have been scouring every store and corner of the internet trying to find one in a M or L, but have come up dry. I picked it up at end-of-season, and never used it. I'd just like to get something out of it so I can use the money toward another in my size if I can find one, or something else along the same lines. $200 shipped / OBO. Retail is ~$350.

Here's the jacket:

Muted sage color. Baggy, but not boxy fit.

All the pockets are either zippered or have snaps AND velcro, and they're everywhere. There's a hidden zippered pocket near the wrist on the left arm too.

Zippered vents down the side of the torso behind the front pockets.

Removable hair-piece, via snaps.

Removable powder skirt, and when in place, but not in use, the ends snap into the jacket to keep things from being loose and dangling. The spot with the cassette tape printed is actually a clear windowed pass/ID holder.

Audio player pocket.

Extended sleeve liners.

Oh and FYI.

I'm wearing the jacket in the picture and I'm ~5'9" - 5'10" and 165 lbs.

The XL fits me pretty big, though not so big I couldn't wear it at all. If I were a more avid snowboarder I'd be able to get away with the jacket in this size, but it's too long down the legs for my skiing taste.

Theres been a surge of people selling dub jackets and they sorta came out of no where. And the funny thing is that they've all been sold as brand new. Also, Tjmaxx has a lot of dub jackets too for about half of what this guy is selling for. I think this is another case of somebody trying to take advantage of fellow newschoolers

so what if he bought it at marshals or tj maxx. The prices at those places are distortedly low. He said he did not like how it fit and im giving him the benefit of the doubt on this one but I dont think hes trying to take advantage of people or rip them off. Look anywhere besides those two stores and 200 for a new dub is a reasonable price. So what if hes making money instead of losing some. If someone sells a medic for over $75 are they screwing ns'ers cause it was at marshals for less. No. You cant compare prices to those two stores

I'm just giving a heads up, Its fine by me if he tries to make money on somewhere like eBay but if he got it for $120 then he should hook up a fellow member for the price of shipping and maybe a little extra. But by a little extra i don't mean $75.

NO WAY!?!?

Do you know what size? Where at?

When RoLLLinDeep mentioned he snagged a Dub setup from TJ Maxx I called around to all the ones in Washington, North Idaho, and Portland, OR area looking for a jacket like this one.

I came up empty handed every time.

I pulled it out with all my other gear getting ready for the season to start, and realized two things a) I freakin' love this coat b) to my taste it's too big on me.

I found a couple channels through Australia and Japan, but it was going to be ~$250 + import & taxes. That was going to be my last resort effort before giving up and just going with something else.

If anyone has a TJ Maxx near them that has this jacket in a size LARGE preferably (though I think a medium would work) I will DEFINITELY buy it, and throw in some cash for your trouble.

I'll just sell or trade this one for the value of what the smaller one cost me. I'd honestly much rather have the jacket than the money if I could find one that fit better.

Knowing that some TJ Maxx out there might have one of these has put some hope back in this search! Sick!

Thanks!!!

I'm in the camp of hooking people up with deals if you got one yourself, BTW.

Any SAC gear I score that I end up not using I sell for exactly what it cost me + shipping. Same goes for everything else. I don't ski to make money... that's what my job is for :-)

I just figure we're all trying to get out there and do the same thing, and sometimes we can't get at the best deals so it's nice to have someone who did get in on one who can hook you up from time to time.

I bought the jacket in April of this year just before my very last spring skiing session. It was hot and sunny outside, so I didn't bother to wear it (or my Mountain Hardware jacket). It cost me $225 + WA sales tax (~9%).

That'd be killer. Thanks! It's the "Century Jacket" The inside tag says "REMIX".

If you go down and find one, buy it, send me a picture of the receipt and tag. I'll PayPal you the price + shipping + $20(?) for your trouble.

Send the jacket w/ tags and receipt just in case there's any problems I can at least return it to a TJ Maxx near me.

Sound good?

Sick! Thanks!

For anyone else. This XL jacket is still for sale. I'll take the highest offer, and if it turns out that I end up being able to get a smaller size for cheap I'll pass the savings on to you too. I'll send you a pic of the sales receipt of the cheaper one to verify you're getting a deal.

Otherwise it's still a damn good price for a really dope jacket.

yo i pmed you playa.....this dude is legit so cut the shit with the hating ass posts about coping shit at marshalls/tjmaxx shit honestly

That jacket looks sick, but I'm about the same height and weight as you, otherwise I'd take it. I'm dropping by a TJ Maxx in WA later today, I'll look to see if they have it as well.

^^^^^ If you like baggy fits it'll do the trick. I tend to be a little more old school than new school with things like this so I like my jackets more fitted.

Here's a couple more pictures of me in the Jacket. Remember, I'm about 5'9" - 5'10" and 165 lbs. I also have short legs (30" inseam) so it feels like it hangs low on me... at least it does in my opinion.

word i wasnt hating on you. ive seen alot of these threads/ comments lately. Personaly id do what your talking about but doesnt mean they're wrong if they do it you know

and man that coat looks perfect. why you selling it. Doesnt look too big at all

Like I said... it almost does the trick for me, but I really don't dig coats that baggy on me. I'm not that big a guy, and it just starts to look like I'm, "wearing my daddies coat, aw."

At least in my opinion, which since I'm the one who has to wear it... is sort of the one I'm concerned with ;-)
