FS: 2 Vivitar 285 strobes

Bought these just before the start of the summer for a trip down to snowflex. Been sitting on them for some time now and they need to go as i have an alienbee on the way. 1 is in awesome condition and the other. not so much. The one on the right is actually in perfect condition save a few minor scuffs.
the one on the left is completely functional but has def seen better days. The mounting plate for hot-shoe mounts was broken off and replaced. it doesn't have the same lock as the one on the right but has a cord you can plug into the camera. it also takes a little longer to recycle than the non broken one.
bought the first for $70 and the second for $50. Looking for about this but will take offers (if you buy both i'll take $10 off).

i guess i should've been more clear. Just got 2 pm's asking me what these are.
These are Off (and on) camera flashes that are designed to give more of an output than the dinky one your camera came with.
But seriously, if you don't know what these are. why do you care?

for nikon i'm guessing? unless these are magical universal flashes hehe. I'm interested in the better quality one

i'm pretty sure these are universal. When i bought them there wasn't any sort of title suggesting of a difference.

they are universal, they just don't have any fancy auto settings like nikon flashes for nikon cams or canon flashes for canon cams. Not really a big deal if you ask me, considering nikon and canon flashes are like 4 times the price.

these are really legit flashes and seantom is a legit kid, buy up! such a good deal, If I wasnt saving to repair my b800 i'd probably snag one or both
