yea its expensive, but its next years ski of a totally new model. If i go much lower than that, i would just as rather ski them myself. (brothers name)
 
Its incredibly Wack to try and get that much for skis on NS, seeing as you actually have these now, you more than likely paid nothing or next to it for them and would be doing fine getting something like 500 for them (which is still to much for any maidens) but yeah my point is that your wack.
 
Yup, you're not going to get any competition with that kind of auction. It's an auction for a reason.
 
i think you shoudl take a picture of the skis base to base, so i can check out the amount of rocker on them. just my thought.
 
yea ill change that with the model and upload a picture of the rocker, its kinda difficult to capture though. Yea its expensive and most kids on here dont have that much money, but I'd rather ski them than take 500 dollars so...... I won a k2 Gift Certificate and asked for them
 
gaurentee they sell for right around 700 dollars next year..... so 700 dollars this year really in not that terrible if someone is looking for some sick pow skis.

I skied those here at Big White when K2 was here...got to test them out in probably the 2 best pow days this year...super fun, super sick...
 
hey man, bring back the original spirit of NS. You got them for free, for crying out loud. You should be dropping them to someone for $400 and be happy that you made some money doing something you love instead of trying to charge more than retail and being greedy. It is sad. I have a professional job and know I can afford stuff better than most kids, that's why I drop equipment at great prices. If I won these in a comp I would sell them for $300 at most. He who gives freely will himself be refreshed. Bring back the real NS, not money grubbing kids.
 
thats a good point, but I'm a junior in highschool and work between sports at our school pool? I pay for all my own gear and right now everything but my skis are at least 4 years old... Its not like i'm being greedy, I either want a good price for the ski or I want to have fun skiing them myself. Also, there's no way you can claim its over retail price, when they aren't on the market yet and considering last years made'ns retail is like 700(according to getboards.com), I'm not sure about this price being that high.
 
let the kid sell them for what he wants. maybe he is saving up for something ans needs the money for that. its a good deal to get next years revolutionary ski at a pric prob lower than retail. so, in conclsions, sell fro what u want.
 
I won skis that were the next year's model, I sold them for $230, when they were $600 skis.

Just because they're not on the market doesn't mean you can sell them for ridiculous prices. I'd say $550 is a good deal for both sides.
 
who pays retail for any ski? i wouldnt pay retail for a ski coming out 3 years from now. i bet you those skis that you wont sell them for more than 500 dollars here ebay or anywhere.

whoopdy do you have next years ski 2 weeks before they drop it, and 5 weeks before ski season for most of this audience ends and ur gonna try to get mad cash for them, from a bunch of kids who are more broke than you. S.M.A.R.T

i guess the MSRP is like 700, but no shop of online store actually charges that (besides maybe cristy's). they will sell for around 600-650 when they come out and get cheaper once ski season starts. to try and get more than that is rediculous, especially on here. support the community, i'd say like $500 is reasonable since they are next year's ski and you got them for free. and don't give me bull shit about paying for your own stuff, you can get a sick new outerwear suit on this site for 100 (yes, new if you fnd the right people).
 
also, you should look to trade them with someone here for a more park oriented ski and some money, then you will get what you want.
 
Well I can 100% for sure, make sure you NEVER sell anything on newschoolers ever if you want. Do you? It was pretty much a self satisfying buttfuck on your part to explain how you got these skis, and now that you have in fact fucked yourself in the ass you should go ahead and lower the price. I sell "next years" skis all the time boss and have NEVER sold any ski for more than $350, becuase thats whats FAIR, you should get on that being FAIR program it works out in the long run.
