Frozen Rail Jam

i was talking to the guy at jibfest and he said that hes gunna ask the pros and teams in the region to recommend there riders..or soemthing like that...

ohh im so psyched that i just loaded up my comp with trance music so i can start my two week mental preparation, soon enough i'll be able to win it......with my mind...bitches

okay - here's the deal as i understand it....

you need to be pre-qualified, those that are pre-qualified will be contacted by Blue Mountain....

as for the set up - there are rumours-a-flying.... what I've been told is think big... no think massive... really massive... massive rail... massive staircase... massive gap... big... maybe even enormous...

more details to follow as we get closer to the day

Well i've noticed that Frozen always features the rails that are being added to badlands that year. Therefore. It will most likely be the two I-Beam rails. Up & Flat/Down rail. With rediculous gaps to them.

you silly gooses, its gonna be open, always has been always will be...if its not...then it'll most likely be like the rockstar and you'll have to have been in one of their other invite jams...a.k.a. i will get in...so i realy don't care about all of you ;-)

All i know is that it should be a good party...haha always is...

cant wait... its my kick off weekend to the season!!! see you boys there

to run the big snow gunners in blue rad lands you need -7 degrees, for the small gunners with legs you need -4 degrees. Until then, we pretty much cant build our park. but, one night at -7 can fully bring the park back to alice in winterland.

the frozen rail jam, "THIS COMMING SATURDAY" should be big rails, but due to lack of colder temperatures, they may have to resort to using smaller features. I dont now any more answers cause i really just dont give ah...

they should just scrape smart alec clean harvesting that snowy goodness all for the rail jam

For those of you looking for the pre-qualified list for the Frozen Rail Jam it is now available at http://www.bluemountain.ca/events_quickfacts.htm#4

The location has been moved from the bottom of Smart Alec to the bottom of Memory Lane due to conditions - our operations and events teams are hard at work making sure that this event is going to go off even if the weather isn't playing along.

I also just heard a rumour that they were going to try and have a mini park set up for this weekend. (check graduate)

seriously lol, ive got a dinner party i want to go to saturday night.... if its gonna rain all day on a bad set up with no one competing.... i wont be too happy.

there better be some snow this weekend and a mini park open cuz im leave today at noon and staying there till sunday

The event is still happening - the location has been moved from Smart Alec to the bottom of Memory Lane.

They are working on a mini park for this weekend - located on graduate (if you are looking up the hill - to the left of Badlands) - pictures will be in the park update section soon...

Here's what was happening at the event site this morning....

haha go figure..

dead and dying old lap top nad dial up internet and the PDFs work.. but my good school laptop and highspeed wireless and they dont work... GO FLIPPIN FIGURE

okay, so there is the pre-qualified list...does that mean ONLY the people on that list are allowed to compete? or can we show up to the morning qualifiers and register and see if we make it to the finals?

p.s. i was in the finals of the rockstar last year..anyway i can get on the pre-qualified list if there aren't general qualifiers?

well basically this is how it is working.. the people on the list are the only people aloud in, and if you email johnathen reid and ask him about getting in you have a chance. there is no qualifying just a practice and a finals... this is as far as i know after talking to park staff and park manager
