Frontyard mischief

So it snowed and school was cancelled today... I got bored and went out in my yard to build a kicker on the hill. Ended up getting a nice one built, colored the lip with some old, flat root beer that I found in the garage.

The hot part though is there's this old canoe next to my house that we've been meaning to get rid of for a while. Tomorrow I'm planning on finding a buddy to come over and help me drag the thing around to the hill and set up a canoe jib. Definately will be unique, never seen anyone jib on a turned over canoe before. I'll definately post pics and vids for you guys after I get everyone I know over here for a session. Just thought I'd share the fun times.

The canoe jib sounds really nice, but how are you going to stabilize it? Since its curved up at the ends...or down when turned over its not going to want to stand up straight for you. You'll probably wind up having to weld some legs into it, but it would be real sick to see that. Definitely post the vids and pics of it. Good luck with it.

Yeah, I was planning on piling up enough snow so it doesn't move. If that doesn't work I have enough spare wood around here I can stick some under the sides to keep it from rocking. The thing is damn heavy, so I'm not counting on it moving much except for the rocking.
