Frontflips or Backflips

well body mechanics wise back flips are easier but i think they are harder to commit to.
 
backflips are easier just cause you can see where you are landing but frontflips are easier to throw. I have to say frontflips over 40+ ft gaps are way more steezy when they are like supermaned out

Backflips are easier. However, I broke my back underrotating a textbook backflip last Saturday. The worst injury I've ever sustained from a crashed frontflip was bad shin bang. I kinda hate backies for ruining my next few months.

I can't believe some people are claiming that backflips are scarier and or easier. I've tried a front flip only once and it was probably the scariest thing i've ever done. I mean the pressure you get on your tips as your coming off the lip? It just fights against you. So scary

And I have no idea what a diagonal would be. Maybe like a Backflip 180 or an Underflip or something.

I love doing frontflips. I think back flips are scarier....but easier. were is frontflips are harder, but probly less scary to try, i dunno thats my opnion
 
ya backs are easier if you commit, idk who wouldnt agree with that. its going the same way as your momentum, and you can see your landing. but lawn darts are just dirty
 
Backflips are so much easier, they just go with the roatation of the lips. Fronts you have to work against it
 
i land front flip on the first try..that was not a steeze frontflip style but its easy to do.. switch front flip are very easy i land it on the first try to but the second shot i hit my face on the jump lol back flip are more scary and harder...but its my opinion
 
backflips are the funnest trick. you can do them off anything with a little bit of lip pretty much.
 
i have yet to land a frontflip, but i'vee landed tons of backflips on park jumps etc, trying to lay them more. i think backflips are a little scarier when you try them for the first time and harder to commit to. but i had trouble committing at the end of the frontflip, right before i landed. i've only tried one frontflip.
 
ive never tried a backflip but frontflip are scary but pretty easy. you just hav to throw it pretty hard and youre set.
 
I want to try a front on skates the next time I go to a skate park. I am scared of landing on my head with backs, but with fronts I always get past the apex of the flip and the worst that would happen is I land on my back.
