Are front flips easier than backflips or are they harder because they are blind. And if you have any tips on how to do them that would be great.

 
Straight flips in general are fairly easy. A front flip is more risky though because of the blind landing, but that can be avoided by poking your head out to one side and viewing your landings.

 
Really?? my friend can land perfect fronts about 6/7 times. He can't do backs yet though. He's on skiboards, I don't know how this would affect flips. The rotation/landing seems a bit harder for me though.

 
I might just be a weird case, but I can cmmit anymore on straught invert. I prefer to go for off axis trick.

I can front flip easily, but only tried a backflip once and landed on my face. (Chickened out half way through) As for not being able to see your landing, my body can sense when I'm upright so I don't have to worry about falling bad. If you under rotate a front flip you'll land on your back, but if you under rotate a backflip you'll land on your face.

i can do both fronts and backs now easily, and fronts have a LOT less risk involved, and i think generally are easier, but they dont look nearly as good as backs, i learned fronts first, and suggest you do also, but remeber to throw the front with your arms, not your head

if you under rottate on a front you land on your back so it doesnt hurt as much.

i did a front before i did a back but backs are much easier like 10 times easier but they are also more intimdating.

um id say do a backflip before you do a front but whatever doesnt really matter.
