Frontflip technique

I wanna throw down a frontie on a slushy day. Should I stagger my feet and huck it on a roller or pop it off a kicky, smedium jump?

Try it off something smaller to start since fronts are actually hella scary as well as blind. Just do it ninja style. If you do it off a big jump you might over rotate since you rly see the landing at the last second as opposed to a backflip. Also if you mess up there will be less consequences on a roller, you can huck frontflips off nothing

if you commit to it on a small jump you will at least land on your back.

a back brace helps alot and will make it not hurt at all if you fall.

this. I did that my first time atleast. landed straight on my back then just popped up to my feet. doesnt hurt on a soft day and made me a lot more comfortable.

I'd be careful though, I committed to a frontie for the first time a couple days ago into a powder field. Didnt rotate at all, and landed with my head between my knees, obv i'm not doing it anytime soon, but just make sure you have your technique hammered out in your head.

Something steep ishspinning almost into the face early and up and over. You spin pretty easy. if you can do one low ish where you kind of roll or land on your ass/skis thats a good start. Sometimes the lower you are, knowing you can't fall that hard makes it lower consequence and easier to commit to. I learned them on a cut up before taking them to the 20 something foot jump in the park.

Even tho it’s a lil late, I stomped it! Thanks for all the tips guys
