Front Page Contest

We should make one. Members submit their own original pics or art (1 picture/drawing per person). It should be in a related to skiing or it's culture. Winner is the one who gets most votes after a determined period of time, the winning art will be displayed on the login page.There would be a contest every month or so, with or without theme.

Is this a good idea? Who's in?

I think that it would be a solid idea if you ask me. Just there would be need a significant amount of admin participation to make the polls possible and what not

Pictures can stay longer than a week, if fact they should stay longer than a week, we can't do contests every week or so.

If you have a photo worthy of the front page SEND IT TO CKO. There needs to be no polls or contests. that would be lame.

I pm'ed cko and he tought it was a good idea... if you find that polls and contests are lame, then just don't participate in them.
