Spread your legs apart and still tuck. No homo. But like how gymnasts and divers do backflips, with there legs far apart. It wont help you spin fast but will give you better stability and keep you from going off to a side.
It's because you drop a shoulder. I do a lot of flips n shit because I'm a lifeguard and we sesh the diving boards and stuff all the time. When your doing a front flip keep your shoulders parallel because if you keep going to one side that means your throwing yourself sideways. Watch this for viewing pleasure:
