The people bring the system to power, they carry just as much fault as anyone else. There is a reason these nationalists are popular, it's because the Russian people want them to be popular. You won't see the them openly say they are against immigration or outside influences, but they are. You think the nationalists can gain that much power by just being assholes to everyone? Obviously people like their ideals. This is nothing new though, the Russians are well known for their Xenophobia and rejection of outside ideas.

Stalin being from Georgia really has nothing to do with this, the people still supported him. They allowed him to rise to power and let him stay in power. The fact that they want to go back to the old system is proof enough that they like that authoritarian type of government. I hope the nationalists overrun them so they can have a blast and act like its 1940, slaughtering their own people and having a ball.

Yes, I know I sound spiteful against Russians. That's cause I am, those bonehead fucks were feeding Serbia weapons when they were committing genocide against us.

How many russians partake in this? It could just be a certain group they are showing. I'm sure if they showed videos in Europe of only the Arian Brotherhood then people might think that's all the US stands for.
 
Again not exactly, Stalin remained in power because he was a very shrewd politician. After he was in power there was little hope of getting him out. The person I was quoting said the Russians were always screwing over the people of the post-Soviet countries, when in reality a Georgian was mainly responsible for this.
 
guys, chill out. I think they said there were 50,000 neo nazis in russia. 50,000 of 140 000 000 people isn't all that much. Most countries have those groups. And the government is cracking down on these guys, at least by putting that skinhead with the glasses behind bars.

But still, these skinheads are FUCKING STUPID and ignorant. I mean come on! celebrating hitler when you're from russia is like being a black man in the ku klux klan or a jew joining a group skinheads. Russians were slaughtered in the thousands in Hitlers concentration camps, and were looked upon as an inferior race by the very man they're idolizing.

Agreed, but as the guy from Russia in this thread said, the NSO is very popular! Not to mention that 50-70,000 people is a VERY strong following. 70,000 is 1/2000th of that population number you gave me. If every 1/2000 people was a skinhead, in a Moscow croud there could be hundreds.

Also, the government isn't really cracking down on them. They arrest those who are outspoken about their acts, or those who they catch attacking people, but with this kind of following, just taking down the leader won't end the conflict.
 
Agreed, plus that number includes the entire Russian population. Russia is a very big country. I'm sure the numbers in European Russia are even higher for national socialists.

The original national socialists began as a very small group as well in the days when they were the brown shirts.
