hey i have a place to stay in the Pacific Palisades/Santa Monica. How long would it take me to drive from there to Bear Mountain. and will it be worth going in mid february?
it takes 2 hours to drive 22 miles from burbank to santa monice on a weekday morning. figure another 3 hours from there. i reccomend flying over bear, and skarachuting out.
it should take about 2 hours from pch to bear, depending on traffic

i live in lake arowhead which is on the same mountain as big bear and everyday io go down the hill people are always comin up in a straight line up to big bear.it dont matter wat day u go it will be hell gettin up there and the weekends...psh dont even think about it.as for the terrain u should skarachute in.if u want a place to ride that isnt as good as bear but closer try snow valley. its small but right now it has great snow and as for the park...its shit but its fun cuz all u can do is fuck around try it out
^shut it fool. snow valley sucks and its only like 20-30 minutes further to bear and sooo worth it.

yes valley is 20 min from bear but on a typical weekday u will be waiting in lift lines all day and on weekends u will be sleeping in the lift lines.it aint worth it besides that the traffic is horrible past valley. GO VALLEY
