from 5 to 7

am i really wrong on thinking just spin a medium 5 speed but hit the jump bigger and just keep looking around or is it best to start the jump with a harder rotation.

whatever

id say more rotation becase from 5 to 7 requires alot more rotation then a 3 to 5 at first, but also getting more air wont hurt either

more rotation is quite obviously a part of it. ;)

In my opinion the best way to get the extra 180 is by extra momentum when you start your spin off the lip, and the most important part of keeping your spin tight and fast is to keep on looking over the shoulder you're leading with. You can't expect your momentum alone to carry you through the second spin, you got to keep looking and set your body so that you don't loosen up after the initial rotation(s).

start with a harder rotation...

-my name is sirjibsalot i like to jib rails alot, curved ones, kinked ones, long ones, short ones, rainbow ones, and hand rail ones, because my name is sirjibsalot-

I also did a 7 before a 5 but only because when I learned 7's people weren't landing backwards yet, haha.

But as for your question, I'd go with a little faster and spin a little harder and then once you get comfortable you can rely on your height in the air to get you around and make it more stylie etc etc

just do the trick..........its all about just going and doing it..when you hit a jump theres not much thought involved

I think the best thing is to do is to commit...Just keep your head turned and keep your spin tight. You should get iT
