Friends with skiers on facebook

Anyone here ever add any pro skiers on facebook? i added dane tudor once for shits and giggles, but after searching further it seems like pretty much every skier from kenworthy to schiller to wallisch to dumont i mean you name it, they all have their own personal facebook account.
 
I'm not trying to be a jerk, but would you want people requesting to be friends with you on facebook who you don't even know? Probably not.

That's why facebook invented pages, so that you can keep up to date with the pros who you are actually interested in, but they don't have to open their online lives up to everyone on the internet. Pages are sweet man, just like em, follow your favorite pros, and keep "friends" to people you actually know and are friends with
 
it's actually one of my reasons for keeping facebook. Most pro skiers just give status updates about who/where they are filming and it's another resource for me to stay up to date in the ski world.
 
That is why Twitter is so awesome to me. Not because I can follow friends or random people but because I can follow pro skiers, my favourite bands, film crews and other things that I am interested in so that I can basically keep up to date with what they are doing.
