Friends skiing park

Whats up NS, Im going on a 4 day excursion with a group of friends. Problem is, none of them hit park, and me, a master in the art of jib, exclusively lives at the park. Anyone have methods on how to get them to hit park and maybe try some features? (Good friends but def not the group that would necessarily want to follow my lead)

Most of them have like actual park skis too and a few even have center mounts but never actually do anything. I want to shred the park but also get them into it but they just want to hit glades every run pls help.

I feel ya, just ended a trip with my family and only got 2 days of park out of 7. It’s why I prefer to ski alone otherwise you gotta divy those days up!

Show em why it’s fun! Do all the easy features. Don’t just lap the bigger parks with the newcomers. I’ve had this happen before, u just gotta get em out of their shell. They don’t wanna look like they suck. Try something dumb and be the first one to bail and laugh it off.

Ski by yourself and make new cooler friends.

This tbh

I do ski with normie snowboarders a lot and they do actually go to the park with me. I encourage them to try the bunny jumps and hit the boxes, but they just... don't. They go on the side bits and do nothing, not even like butters, and they're really standoffish when I even think about the idea of them trying and enjoying it. They don't even want to entertain the idea of freestyle. I'm probably just gon hang with them less tbh

This is actually fucked. What is the purpose of center mounts or even freestyle skis if they're not skiing switch or doing spins? Did we discover the first skiing posers?

depending on where you are you'll make friends with either skiers that are your level or better than you, which in the long run is better imo. Meeting new people and lapping with them is how I started to actually get better.

Park is dope don’t get me wrong, but maybe get out of park yourself?

Go ski what they usually ski and you might have some fun, and they’d be more open to trying out park as well..

I have maybe 1 day of hitting strictly park this year, been skiing new lines and hitting natty stuff all over instead.
