Friend's injuries

I was just wondering if any of you guys have had friend's who have got seriously injured while skiing. My friend was up last week and he was jumping a table. He messed up and smacked his head really hard. He was wearing a helmet but it got knocked off somehow before he hit his head. After he hit he went into a coma for 6 hours. His brain swelled and bruised. The doctors said they had never seen a head injury like it. The miracle is he is gonna be ok. After that it just like gave me doubts about this sport. Its my passion but it scared the crap out of me knowing my friend could have died. So just ski safe out there and deffinatly wear a helmet.

 
i have to skiing friends that both tore their acls requiring surgery. very shitty because both r incredible skiers

i have a friend who slit his ear in half and another who tore his knee up

I've had a friend who sprained his back(something along those lines) and thumb, another who broke his collar bone, another who broke his arm and i broke my leg. The hospitals getting very familliar....

my intire crew waited for his ass at the bottem of the hill and beat the shit out of him. i broke his poles agianst a tree, and we snapped one of his skis. fucker got uppercutted so much. he was bleeding from his eyes and shit, crying like a little pussy. i busted out a body slam on his ass and broke both of his arms. the ski patroler broke up the fight and clipped all of our tickets. we where gonna beat the shit out of the patroller but my mom came to pick us up.

i have had some of the most intense injuries out of every one i know, but it seems like im the only one that walks away prefectly fine after them. i just dont get injured for some reason

my friends go off jumps with the speed that gets you about 4.6 inches of air...ON SKIBOARDS!

and i was serious about them..the only one to get hurt was john and thats because he couldnt do a 180 so i went off the jump and ran over him

my buddy broke his wrist a couple weeks ago, so he just messes around on the groomers and does straight airs in the park...of course last week he over shot a small table, landed supper flat and broke both of his big toes...that sucks...and yeah, k2skeepimp knocked his teeth out a couple runs after nutting himself on a trap.

last year i ruptured my spleen and bruised my kidneys. put me up in the ICU for like 5 days and i was realeased on my 8th day. pretty much ended my season.

In the last 14 years I have broken 22 bones, had a total of 330 stitches,have 11 pins in my leg and jaw, been TKO'ed 3 times, and spent 8 days and nights in the hospital.All from Skiing. I love my parents.'

I have a big dent in the front of my Pathfinder, but I leave it there because im a hard ass who hits shit and I just want people to see that.
