My friend whos 15 just got arrested today for 27 counts of breaking and entering( he robbed over 30 houses.) his older brother was arrested too and is being tried as an adult. now my question is what sentence will he get? this is usa and hes 15..will he have a prison or juvy sentence? if anyone can help please do, thanks.

Tell you the truth who fucking knows, I knew this kid in high school who broke in construction sites and took the equipment, dug giant holes and barried cars in the ground, he did this to a couple places causing damage worth of 375,000, and all he got was fines and probation till 25 or something, which is totally fucked for what he did. So you never know, it all depends on the lawyer, circumstances and everything else, considering his 15, you can say his teen life is over though.

um, that kinda sounds like someone i know in my town, the robbed a friends house on their bikes, him another 15 year old and a 17 year old, they took liquor and ps2 and other shit taken on bikes, my friend layed the shit into him at a baseball game, and the 17 year old went 2 city jail for a week and was made a bitch, and was about 30 seconds early of getting ass raped

yeah really, I think with 30 break-ins under his belt this has gone past the point of it being a prank and into the realm of serious criminal intent. He might get counselling and community service if he's lucky, but he could easily get fucked for this (in the ass, as it were).

Its too bad that he will go to jail even tohugh he damn well should. Alot of times kids like will learn wosre things in jail and when they get out they only comit worse crimes not just stupid kid shit.

ok i know this feild VERY WELL:

it matters how much he stole, if its over 5 grand it becomes grand theft. if hes only 15 he will only goto juvie which isn't a big deal my friend just got out for his 7th time, but will be returning very soon. when you get juvie they don't put you in there for long, but he might be on house arrest and probation for a while, hes only 15 and this is his first time being arrested i assume, so they will prolly just put him in juvie for awhile to teach him alesson and hope he is young enough to change.

this is coming from personal experience:

-my ex bf (dated him for 2 months while in jail) is in jail for 3 years for breaking and entering, grand theft auto, vandalism, and arson and some other shit i dunno. (demolished 4 cars, trashed 21 total, broke into a house, burned down a HOTEL, stole a car, ect)

-my best friends brother is in jail (juvie) for 10 years for nearly stabbing a girl to death

-good friend in juvie, in and out so far over 18 monthes, for dealing, not going to rehab, probation shit, failing a drug test, ect. 7 times in and out of juvie

And it makes me see, every puff that I breathe, potent herbs and leaves could ease the world . . .

So, We roll and smoke and choke and- pass and toke and hand it back to ya.

well in that case, my friends dad and dads gf got caught trafficing cocaine and guns through his 3 mansions...

i don't hang out with a 'crowd' i don't have any supper close friends i just know every1 and every1 knows me, i am very independent and have learned who is sketch to be around and who i could easily be with at the wrong place at the wrong time. i have NEVER been arrested, i am a good kid i just know bad kids

if he goes to jail he wont get raped, thats such a stupid stereotype. yeah it happens in prison, but it happens in prisons where dudes are there FOR LIFE which means they'll never get fucked by a bitch again, so if your some 21 year old that thinks hes hard, bubbas got a different plan for you.

but as for your 15 year old friend, someone else said it - his teenage years are over. he'll most likely get an early curfew, probation, take classses of some sort, mad fines, a shit load of community service, have to wear one of those bracelets that monitors where you are, the list goes on. the legal system has a lot of thigns to make your life miserable, not just jail.

I know a few people who just went through this. They were under 18 at the time, also. As sad as it is, what it really comes down to is their lawyer and the judge. It has nothing to do with what is right and what is wrong. If they get a good lawyer who is able to make a convincing arguement that they have mental stress/problems that led to it, then they could get off with ass little as community service with probation.

Realistically though, judges don't tend to crack down real hard on minors espeically if they don't have priors. This is because they don't want to condemn kids at an early age, and believe in giving them a second chance. Years of juvy would forever change them

Each state has their own jurisdiction here and is going to deal with it differently. But my assumption is that he's probably looking at 6-8 months juvenile hall or possibly a work program (ship him out to the desert or something. this is no fun. you don't want that), with lots of mandatory classes, and restricted probation for the next few years.
