Friend was stabbed outside a bar the other day

A friend of mine was the victim of a senseless crime the other night and lost his life. Stay away from bar fights, they can get ugly quickly. He was just defending his girlfriend I hear and was stabbed by some punk with a prior record of assault. Just awful. Our town has lost way too many young people for no good reason.
 
Wow, thats terrible, sorry for your loss, I will never understand a person who could do that to a person they don't even know, let alone anyone.
 
We hadn't hung out much in the past couple years, but this past summer we hung out and blazed a few times and talked about the old days. I'm glad I got to catch up with him, I saw him last about 3 weeks ago. My friend Ben and him were more like brothers though, I feel awful for him.
 
That is a low a sickening thing to do. It's hard to believe that someone has it in them to be violent and kill over something so insignificant. + Vibes to you, his friends and his family and may he RIP.
 
I'll be fine, my best friend committed suicide 3 years ago this December so I know the pain my friends going through. I already got my crying out, but I just snap back and think like "what the fuck I was just with him, and now his body is lifeless and you can never hear him talk or anything again". Send your prayers to my friend Ben, he says he hasn't hardly eaten or slept in a couple days.

For anyone that wants to keep track I'll post a link to the story. Apparently the scumbag is being charged with 2nd degree manslaughter charges, which isn't enough in my opinion.

Jesus Christ thats awful, my friend's friend (didnt really know him) was stabbed to death outside of a party we were at last year, i hope you get through it man.

There arent many of us on NS that work in the nightclub industry that post on here but I cant even remember how many times Ive seen good nice people go home in an ambulance severely injured or dead over nothing.

Im planning to make a thread about it but the first time you see someone die from a bar fight will be the day your over partying. I remember the first time I saw it. A guy had been arguing in the bar with another about who had been in line to get a drink first. They both got kicked out and the one guys gang of friends came outside and as a group beat the hell out of him till he was on the ground. One of them began repeatedly kicking him in the stomach then and another began jumping on his head till there was a sickening crack. Everyone was in shock over how quick it happened. To make it worse, the guys reached down and stole his wallet and id and fled. The guy bled out on the concrete and died. It was a tuesday night at around 1:30 in the morning.

Just remember to be careful when your out partying. All it takes is messing with the wrong people one time to end up on the slab.
 
this kinda shit happened to me a month ago.

Were just walking home, and some guy walks out on his porch, next to the dorms, and just starts unloading a shotgun at us.

Thank god he was too drunk to aim correctly, because he left off a good 4-5 shots into the ground and air trying to raise it to his shoulder.
 
+vibes..i'm so sorry that you and your friends are going through that, and i'm sorry about your best friend 3 years ago. make sure Ben stays strong.
 
Some fucked up people out there... One of my friends coming out of a bar got attacked by some random guy with a metal rod swingin at my friends head. Thats just fucked, so many weird people get attacked fkr stupid reasons. Likethe guy who posted someone getting beat to death because of an argument of 'who was in line to get their drink first' come on thats just fucking crazy... Anyways bro, positive vibes sent your way for you andyour buddy. Gotta stay strong in situations like these.
 
if any of you live in burlington vt or have been waching the news in vt. my really good friend a really tallented local border luke haddok got stabbed in burlington a few nights ago when we were out partying.

most of u know that burlington vt is a really safe college town, i walk around alone at 3 4 am all the time and never have shit liek this happen.

he was walking alone on north st going to meet up with a chick and 2 kids jumped him beat him in the head w a gun then stabbed him in the lung. and stole 10 bucks, thats all he had on him.

a family found him stumbling around all drunk bleeding everywhere and took him to the er. he just got out today and will have a 2 month recovery for a collapsed lung.

be carefull when partying nomatter what town ur in. shits wack these days.

This sounds all too familiar. A month and a half ago, a guy I went to high school with was killed outside of a bar. He got into an argument in the bar with two guys and they eventually left, but waited outside for him. He found out they were waiting for him and decided to go out the back door and grab his bike and bike home. The guy caught up with him, pushed him off his bike and he ended up going over the handle bars head first. He went into a coma and was rushed to the hospital. 4 days later he died.
How can someone's life be taken from them so cruelly? It makes me sick.
 
Sooo not cool. stuff like this happens in Whistler too, every May long weekend. Everyone comes up from Vancouver and there's just packs of huge guys from Surrey that come up in their ed hardy and just fuck everything up. Locals don't even go into the village during the the weekend.. people get randomly beat up and I think someone died last year, actually. One of the dj's was out back just packing up his gear and a bunch of guys came up and jumped him. So unnecessary. Vibes to you, that sucks about your friend.
 
Yeah the stabbing happened in Amsterdam, 30 minutes west of Albany. But we're both from Broadalbin-Perth which is right next to Amsterdam.

thats fucked. unfortunately i know a few kids who used to go around jumping people outside clubs for fun. i heard a few pretty bad stories from them.
 
agreed dude, some people on here may say somethings they dont mean, but truth is we would help eachother in a time of need
