Today a good buddy of mine went over to Iraq to fight for the 2nd time. I'd just like to give him a little appreciation and wish anyone who has relatives/friends over there the best of luck. They are going through a tough enough time as it is, and without anyone's suppourt it makes it a lot harder.

do you know how many fucking people die in iraq everyday! fuck you, you dont think i know people in the military!?!? joining is not a smart thing to do right now, iraq is like fucking vietnam, there are fucking ied's everywhere you cant even defend yourself, and for what! to protect america? give me a fucking break, soilders are defensless in iraq
 
yeah if we didint have a military during ww2 we would be fucked, but they are really being put to good use these days aint they?

Yes they are. They're over there protecting us, not necessarily in the right places at ALL times, but they are there to keep us safe. There's absolutely NO reason for you to come into a thread such as this and throw around a comment like that. It's tough enough to see a friend go over seas. Whether or not it's true is besides the point, it's not necessary in this thread.

It's ok, I respect his opinion, I just know that the little kid behind that alias trying to talk bad about everything just to try and make me mad (won't happen) for enjoyment, will never see war and he will never understand why my friend is really scared shitless to go back into the shithole near Mosul.

Yesterday I saw a Documentation of some bataleon that was down there in the Irak for 12 Months last year... this was the shit. It is horrible whats going down there. One of the soldiers told how different this whole war is presented in the news than it i in real.

Fuck war... seriously. I hope your friend gets back alright but fuck the war. I'm not gonna say stuff like Bush is only there for oil which is most likley true but even if he isnt they should find a better way than killing. Is it worth it? no
