I'm going tomorrow and saturday for 9:30. Should make it to the afterparty Saturday night if the Decentralized Dance Party fails miserably/ends early.
 
Out of the Shadows was sick. Opening took forever. So many underdogs in it. Eliel's part was awesome. My buddy Dave had a sick big mountain segment and a shot of his smoking wife (neighbours daughter). good job to Dendrite.

Light the Wick was amazing. Such sick places, suck sick shots. Crazy crashes. The quality of most shots though was confusing. I don't know if it's the 3D camera shots that were shown all weird.

I'm not the best at detailed reviews...

And Thanks to Fresh for the North Face Jacket, Poles and tickets to Sunshine. Made me very happy.
 
Don't need very detailed reviews, just need to know which ones are the best. I think for sure i am going to buy eye trip and like a lion but maybe there will be an underdog.

What did you have to do to get the jacket?
 
I'm looking forward to revolver and the way i see it tonight. might buy the MSP flick, usually do, or get it for xmas.

I just got my ticket drawn, answered a bunch of questions about sunshine. I got them right, or close enough.

They do it for all the shows.
 
ya i was in a slurpie drinking contest last year. i couldn't even remember anything about refresh i was so fucked up afterwards. couldnt stop shaking and had the worst headache.
 
that'd be terrible.

I still have ticket 1 for tonight. Hopefully they call it again.

I traded in my ticket 1 for tomorrow nights late show for the early show. Everybody who's anybody that's over 18. I expect to see them at Julios Saturday night.

Last nights movies were sick. Field had a bunch of pretty boy Norwegians. Such sick skiing in Norway though.

The Way I See It, it is the best MSP flick I've ever seen. Best opening segment by Sean. Ingrid had a great tribute to Arne. Colby's part was funny. The Alyeska jump was amazing. Triple Cork 1620 is my goal for this year.

Stoked for Poor Boys and Level 1 tonight.
 
I actually was near tears in Arne's tribute (such a girl, I know), I thought it was really well done. Super tasteful.
And is it bad that I was almost more excited to see Schmuck than the actual pros?
Anyways time for me to head out for tonights...
 
I was so hyped to see Schmuck tonight! haha I was leaving the theatre after revolver and was looking at the screen it was a shot of Schmuck and then I turn around and he's there! I was going to ask for a picture with him but didn't...
 
Don't meet someone for 10 seconds when they're busy doing their job and form an opinion on who they are as a person.

I thought the MSP film was probably the worst that I've seen out of them in the last 10 yrs. Not impressed. A couple of decent songs and the seggy's were too repetitive, not big enough and not that awe-inspiring.

I gotta say, I think too many good (Strong-legged) skiers have been hurt or killed in recent years and we have these kids that are 110lbs soaking wet doing everything they can do.....but it won't ever compare to what Seth, Tanner, CR, etc. did to open our jaws. The big mountain just wasn't there in the MSP film.

And I know they try to keep BM to a small portion, but AK was there....it just wasn't HAD.
 
So what movie would you guys buy? I did not see any of them. I think i am going to buy like a lion just because of tanner.
 
The first half of eye trip kinda blew my mind. The urban L1P is putting out year after year is beyond innovative.
 
eye trip. no doubt. a ton of bonus features too i hear.

and shmuck wouldnt talk to me when i tried to strike up a conversation and also wouldnt sign my shirt.
 
mr shmuck seemed to be quite a nice guy and signed a poster of mine. Eye trip was super sick. Revolver was sort of a let down in my opinion.
