If you can speak french and would be willing to translate this for me please reply with the correct french.

its for my french midterm, its a report on Cambodia

anyway, here is the sentence i need help on:

'Another odd thing is that Cambodians will not sit with the soles of their feet facing an image of Buddha or a person of higher status.'

what i have down for that is:

'Un autre bizzare chose est que Cambodians...then i have nothing until...avec la plantes de leur pieds revement vers un image de Buddha ou un personne de haut statut.'

please fill in the blanks

 
Une autre chose impaire est que les Cambodgiens ne s'assiéront pas avec les semelles de leurs pieds faisant face à une image de Bouddha ou d'une personne d'un statut plus élevé.

But I think you may have to switch it to the masculine form depending on the context

its for French 4, so i should know these things. but not much of the french i've been taught has stuck. that and our curiculum (spelling?) sucks

 
actually i have everything pretty much under control... i just hate bio, and making the study sheet is really time consuming

hey, how do you get the accents and little mark thingies over the letters like in francais, but with the little thing under the c?

 
haha, most of it sucks, i agree with ya on that, but the evolution and genetics topics are cool, so is ecology. but thats probably because i'm a treehugger and like those things

chose subset Latin-1... scroll down until you find it... im sure there is an easier way, but i have yet to find it

 
altavista.com doesn't translate correctly.... it switches around some of the verbs sometimes and the passe compose and irregulars get messed up sometimes... not reliable for large text documents either

 
'semelle des pieds' isnt the right word. You got to say 'la plante des pieds'. Semelle is what's under our shoes not our feet. 'Plante des pieds' is the correct word.

heheh, weak. BeckyK, you went to a translation website for that one, I can tell because the grammer is all wrong (it's as if you're talking about a thing, not a person) and so are the verbe tenses. Good luck with that.
