Skipimp you exactly right, and i am sympathetic to them because of their 'story', but it comes to a point where, being a victim of your enviroment or not, things have to stopped. And unfortunately, part of there upbringing includes the Master ideal where people of there kind are supreme - so not all of it can be porevented peacefully or by democratic means.

Even after reading what skipimp_ has to say, i dont see how anyone can be sympathetic to terrorists. these are people who would rather blow themselves up in the streets then live their life. i understand these people are raised in wore torn nations were bombings are a weekly occurance, but what is it that their trying to achieve. no terrorist organization will ever be successful, you cant just blow up everyone in your path to get what you want. alot of it is because a huge part of their belief system is based on the 'virtues' of 'killing the infidels'. these are people who are taught that there will be a wonderful afterlife for doing something like a suicide bombing. their lives are absolute shit, so they'll do anything to have a shot at that wonderful afterlife. having said that, I do have sympathy for them because of the lives they lead, but as soon as they take that step and hurt innocent people, they've taken it too far, there's no excuse and I have no sympathy for them.

Well, their religion believes that this life is just a test for the next one.

Most terrorists (at least palestine and isreael) are not trying to blow poeple up till they get what they want, they're trying to keep the military from killing their people. Isreal is funded by the states. Isreal is a military state. It's job is to protect palestinians from the outside attackers (israelis and others). Palestine is in the center of Israel, and has no contact with the outside world. The problem is that their defenders have turned into the attackers, and israel (certain factions) have turned their sights inwards, and the tanks roll in, destroy buildings and kill people.

Israelis believe that the palestianian land is theirs by right, and so do the Israelis. Problem is Israel has a US funded army, tanks, and guns, and Palestianans have c4 that they wrap around themselves.
