Freezing when seeing a popular skier

the other day back east i was drunk at a bar and I sarcastically commented on some jiberish this kid was wearing. Convo sparked up and he was just a yung grom stoked on park rat ski culture. I provoked him and said i was mole squad or some garbage and the child went 100% pro-hoe.

never go 100% pro-hoe

lol why didn't you say hey

I see famous skiers all the time in Salt Lake so it doesn't really seem like a big deal I guess. Wabs told me I was a "man of culture" for eating my rice with chopsticks at the bonezone, guess that's my /claim

Yeah saw him in blackpark yesterday, guys sick af

Took the chair with Vinny Ca$h when I was in whistler.. was stoked AF to meet him but felt like I was giving interviewing him... I knew so much about him and knew nothing about me hahah plus I was talking shitty French which he was probably thinking smh fucking ontarians sacrament

the thing is like these people that are our idols don't have the mainstream success that other celebrities do, so they don't get super cocky. i mean you see cockier park rats that won there fucken local rail jam or some shit one time. you just need to remember that these guys are humans too (except jesper. he is definitely not a human) and as long as you're not creepy, it's ok to be a lil awkward. they'll understand

I ski Park City, so there are pros there all the time especially on weekdays. But my real claim was going to a random showing of Guest List this year with less than 10 people in the audience. Tom Wallisch was there and the sponsor was having some technical difficulty getting the show started so I just chatted with him for 15 minutes. He was super chill, talked about the movie and his season, told me to say hi when I see him at PC. I was really impressed with how down to earth he was, despite obviously being among the biggest names in this sub culture.
