ive never understood why their last issue is the smallest of the year. half of it is camp shit too. lazy fucks.

sometimes when im running water to wash dishes or something, i think about how lucky i am to have such simple access to running water and how some people will never know such a simple pleasure.

then i let it run for awhile, just because i can.

 
at high north micah abrams was there and they had sessions on the off day where a group of people talked about the magazine and he asked us questions. i suggested that they do one summer update in the middle but they said its hard to get people to adverstize in the summer. and we told em to get more and hotter lifties, and we talked about a bunch of other stuff, if they take our advice then itll be sweet

it seems like each winter's issues are mostly stuff from the last year so why couldnt a summer issue include the end of the season stuff from that past winter

freeze needs to add more to the magazines that they publish

fuck 8-12 issues a year just put more effort/information/pictures/updates/creativity into the 6 issues they usually work on

 
freeze is a great mag, but i agree they need more issues. why don't they either cover the southern hemisphere scene like someone suggested, or hit the ski camps. that way they can get shots of some lucky no-names and give them a chance to pick up some coverage and possible sponsors. that would be sweet!

even the SKI which probobly sells more than freeze doesnt have summer issues so forget about 12 for freeze

 
we also told them to interview some pro snowboarders about skiing, and szocks suggested getting somebody from transworld snowboarding or something to interview snowboarders about skiing, and not tell them its for freeze and if they rip on someone show a swet ass picture of that person ripping right next to it.

we talked about the buyers guide and said they should actually test the skis instead of just listing them. then we talked about the trick tips and how 'how to d-spin 1080' by tanner hall doesnt help any one, we said they should do like 3 tricks an issue, 1 easy 1 medium and 1 hard, and we said they should show pictures of like pep or tanner doing the tricks and have someone who really knows how to teach like shane explain how to do it. and we told em to show like blow ups of key parts like if it sais to drop your right shoulder then show an exploded view of the frame where he drops his right shoulder
