so did none of you guys get the thing in the mail saying that they would honor your remaining subscription but send you 1.3 issues of SKI per 1 issue of Freeze you were supposed to receive? i don't know where they came up with the math, but if you had a year left of Freeze, you should get a year and about 4 months of SKI delivered to ya.

damn i miss that mag. i still have the very first issue. freeze pretty much turned me on to the whole newschool side of skiing back in the day. its sad to see a legend go.

A group from Calgary bought the old press and all the rights to the name and copywritten material. The talked with Time Warner and Transworld and both have decided to give the new owners a chance at next season! They need 10,000 subscriptions by the end of August, or else they'll have to find another publisher.

freeze got shut down because it was part of time warner and the money hungry assholes decided to drop it for the insane sport of ATV's. I hate you time warner.

Anyone rememebr 2freeski, I have their last issue, it was sick.

Freeskier is okay, but it just doesn't compare to freeze. Powder is okay, but they didn't do as much jib stuff as last year, and the format was better last year without so many little stories, and more bigger. more interesting articles.

I was devastated when freeze was so abruptly ended. I even wrote a couple emails transworld about my dissatisfaction about freeze ending. Now I get SBC skier which really is a better magazine but it still does not replace freeze to me.

Alcohol the cause and solution to all lifes problems.
