FREEZE petition

it was a shame when freeze was canceled but since that day freeskier has made alot of progress and i dont think that if freeze was reserected from the dead that it would have a home in the ski industry today

i hate to be the voice of reason and rain on this little parade, but does anyone else see how silly this is. That's not meant to be offensive, i love the support showed by NSers, but come on now. FREEZE went out of business. Why? Low sales=Low cash money for company. So when the cost of printing and all that jazz gets to the point that the profit is too low, the plug got pulled. Do you really think that a company is gonna go through that all over agian? The way to go about this would eb to hop in the time machine and in the months where there was talk of FREEZE shutting down, save up you sheckels and buy a subscription! A petition doesn't put cash in the pockets of a company, and while it might show that there's demand for the product, it's still not gonna have that much pull.

By the way, it seems that the FREEZE mag crew have dispersed to other mags, so pick a few of those up, and let FREEZE R.I.P.

^exactly, and i only got in on a couple of the last issues, so i want more!

And(to the guy not far above with the long post) do you think that now, with skiing being even bigger, that transworld wouldn't be able to profit from a freeski mag, being the only other one next to Freeskier?

Support (enough of it) will show them there is still interest, and new profits to be made.

im all for a cause if its worth it.. 50 pages worth of ad's, 'ask brad holmes', and the other 43% bullshit that came with freeze just doesn't scream 'notable cause for a petition' to me

freeskier is laid out so well, has better articles, and was owning freeze when freeze was still around

bump. I didnt check what the count was but Ill tell you if I look I wont be happy. Wouldnt you be happy to have another ski magazine out there? yeah you would
